Ancient Egyptian Box
Lots of subjects interest me….this is another and felt it time to do a box with ancient egypt as its inspiration…..not quite sure where this will all lead…so watch this space…..
So the goddess Isis has formed the wings around the box her significance in ancient egyptian mythology is goddess of healing and magic….
Since I’m about to taken on some kittens I was probably channeling their arrival in the painting on top of the box! Bastet, the cat goddess, in ancient egypt was the goddess of love, of the mystery of women, of pregnant women, of the joy of home, of passion, of pleasure and of “all things pleasant!”
A little bit more to do on this box to finish the top and inside……..
