Upcycling a Nest of Tables

These I have owned for some time and thought I would give them a makeover! Using the inspiration from Toulouse Lautrec and the chest of drawers I have have just done “Le Chat Noir”, I thought I would do another poster of his “Moulin Rouge” this poster hung in our loo when I lived on Gorey Pier - many moons ago!

I started by sanding them and gave them coat of some gold paint and painted in a background and then added the image in pencil (using a grid) and viola the first table came into being…….I hope you like it…

and so to the middle table, I believe these posters came from the 1890’s….this one is a bit more complicated but still very enjoyable to do………
