Steph’s Commission Box
Steph asked me to do a commission box for her Mum for Christmas. She had seen Jane’s Commission Box and liked the idea of choosing things that her Mum loves. So Steph’s Mum loves ducks, short haired black and tan dachshunds, roses and freesia’s……….
I’ve started with some ivy since this will help to combine all the images together. Fingers crossed that my ideas work and Steph and her Mum will love it…..
So I’ve added some more ivy to the corners……..
and a purple freesia…….
Took a bit of time on the dachshund, I think he’s starting to get there……..
and another freesia…… and some shading
I’ve added the ducks and ducklings and started the roses and have decided to do a rambling rose, as I thought this would look better with the overall design…..hope you like it so far…….
A few straggler ducks and finishing off the rambling rose……….
So the top of the box is a picture of Steph and her Mum…….so this is starting to take shape……
and of course the inside, decoupaged with paper I found in St Malo………….
I’m please to say that Steph was delighted with the finished box and is looking forward to gifting this to her mum…Thank you Steph, it was fun to do…
